Graduate and Professional Student Committee

The Graduate & Professional Student Committee (GPSC) helps facilitate and enhance the overall graduate student experience, by advancing the University’s academic goals and promoting quality presentations and research efforts. They also work in conjunction with other Graduate Student Organizations and departments in order to present educational workshops and coordinate symposiums and scholarly forums.

Graduate Student Funding for Conferences, Professional Development, and Research

The GPSC provides graduate students with travel funding to help cover the cost of attendance and/or participation in conference, research, and professional development activities.  We are happy to announce that we are now accepting GPSC travel funding requests through our new online system. The goal will be to transition to an entirely paperless environment by the start of the new funding year. If your travel ends on May 31st or earlier, you will still need to submit hard copies of post-travel documents to our office (GC 2202). However, all requests and post-travel documents for any travel beginning or ending on or after June 1, 2016, must be submitted online. It is important that you review the updated Funding presentation as it provides new steps and important links that you will need for the online application.
