What does your syllabus say about you and your course?
How can I get students to participate in class discussions? Why are students not completing their homework assignments? Why did my students do so poorly on their exam? Often, the syllabus, that unassuming document distributed to students at the start of the semester, can help us answer some of these questions. In this workshop, we will examine strategies for crafting more effective syllabi and provide feedback on your current syllabus, so please bring your syllabus with you.
