University Graduate School - Spring 2012 Graduate Orientation

Important Note: The University Graduate School's Graduate Orientation is intended for all newly admitted graduate students excluding those in Business and Hospitality. Business and Hospitality will hold their own Graduate Orientation for Spring 2012. Graduate students falling under those areas should contact their respective program managers for more information.

How to sign up and complete the Online Graduate Orientation:

Important: you will receive an email with the information below; you cannot access the online Graduate Orientation until you have received the email.
Please follow the instructions below to gain access to the Online Graduate Orientation:

  1. Go to http://moodle.fiu.edu
  2. Under Course Login in the left-hand corner, you must enter you username and password
  • Your username is your Panther ID
  • Your password is your date of birth in the format of MMDDYYYY

Graduate Orientation Fee

The Graduate Orientation student fee is $35.00 and is automatically assessed to all new Graduate Students.  This fee provides for the cost of implementing the University Graduate School’s general Graduate Orientation, including publications, and giveaways (t-shirt, USB drive).  This fee is non-refundable and cannot be waived; without this important fee, Graduate Orientation would not be possible.
