Culturally responsive teaching (CRT) is a student-centered pedagogical approach that identifies and nurtures students’ cultural identities and strengths to promote and sustain student learning. In this workshop, we will discuss how instructors can draw from the CRT framework to develop course learning goals and assignments that enhance students’ sense of autonomy.
